This page was last edited on 4 June , at The YRC was the first American group to visit the Soviet Union as a private initiative, touring the country in following the signing of the Lacy-Zarubin Agreement on cultural exchange. During our performances, we strive to maintain the original mode of presentation, which often includes dissonant harmonies, unusual rhythms, and distinctive vocal qualities which make Slavic and Eastern European music unique and exciting.
